BioMy name is Lindsey Noel. I am 19 years old and a Sophmore at Houston Baptist University majoring in Mass Communications and English.
I am first and foremost a Christian. Though I mess up on a daily basis my relationship with God is my lifeline. I want to serve him with my life—whatever that looks like. Picking around at Christian doctrine is fascinating though I completely understand and respect differences.
I am an aspiring journalist. Writing has always been my thing even back in the days when I wrote happy stories of bears and fish meeting and having saccharine conversations. My goals include working for the New York Times and then freelancing for magazines … a girl can dream right?
I am a book lover. I share a room with my books who graciously make space for me. Good literature is my favorite. Good is a subjective term, but I love a book that has quality writing and leaves me filled. J.K. Rowling, C.S. Lewis, L.M. Montgomery, Charles Dickens, Charlotte Bronte, Flannery O’Conner, and Jane Austen are just a few of the authors that I wish I could write like.
Music always infiltrates my life. My taste spans from hard rock to classical. Though the music of the 1960’s, and music like Coldplay or Eisley never fail to satisfy me.
Movies are another passion. It is my current goal to see all the ‘classics’ that everyone should see. Quirky, deep films are my favorites.
Add some Starbucks coffee, pages of ‘do to’ lists, my rat terrier Velvet, and you have a sketch of me.
